WILLIAMS

Russell E. Williams, 69, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at his home in Franklinton. Born Aug. 9, 1943, he was a member of Clifton Baptist Church and a pharmacist at Winn Dixie Pharmacy in Franklinton. He was also a member of the Louisiana Pharmacy Association.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Stuart Williams of Franklinton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cara M. Williams of Covington and Tracie Williams Stroud and Michael Stroud of Shreveport; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stroud, Noah Stroud and Eli Stroud, all of Shreveport; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruby and Doyle Dykes of Florence, Miss., and Minnie Jo Dillard of Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard R. Williams and Verlie Morgan Williams; and two brothers, Robert C. Williams and Curtis H. Williams

Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home Sunday, April 21 from 6-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Tony Hicks and Rev. Paul Watts officiating. Burial followed in Knight Memorial Gardens in Enon.

Pallbearers were Rod Graham, David McNeese, Jim Morgan, Joe Richardson, Scott Shirley and Don Spears.
