BICKHAM

Genora Davis Bickham, 71, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at her residence in New Orleans. She was born Sept. 20, 1941.

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Johnnie Ray Bickham, Lionel Bickham, Dinell Bickham and Detrick Bickham, all of New Orleans; two daughters, Gelana White and Vanessa Jackson, both of New Orleans; two brothers, Phillip Davis of Birmingham, Ala., and Scottie Davis of Roanoke, Va.; three sisters, Linda Franklin, Diane Covington and Bronice Duplessis, all of Franklinton; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Della Davis; one brother, Michael Davis; and three sisters, Verdine House, Creola Davis and Phylis Davis.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton at 11 a.m., with Rev. Terrance August officiating. Interment will follow at Bell Cemetery in Franklinton.
