ORDOYNE

Trey Anthony Ordoyne, 15, died at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at his home in Franklinton.

Born June 6, 1997, he was a ninth grade student at Franklinton High School, where he proudly played the saxophone in the FHS Demon Regiment. He was a member of Hay’s Creek Southern Baptist Church and an active outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting fishing, and riding 4-wheelers, often mud-riding and getting as dirty as possible. Since birth, every day of Trey’s time on Earth has been a battle for his life but he lived every moment to the fullest and spread joy and happiness to his family and to all he knew.

He survived by his mother, April Foil Ordoyne of Franklinton; his father, Troy Anthony Ordoyne of Franklinton; his sister and brother, Destiny Lynn Ordoyne and Hunter Clarence Ordoyne; his grandparents, William “D.D.” Foil and Jackie Foil of Franklinton, and Sherry and David Byrd of Bogalusa; his great-grandmother, Verda Mae Pierce of Bogalusa; aunts and uncles, Deidra and Toby Byrd, Lynsey and Jeremy Ebarb, Jennifer and Tim Corkern, Floyd J. Ordoyne Jr. and Tracey Ordoyne, Michelle Hill and Randy Ferguson, Stacey Chiasson, and Matt Barber; his godfather, Jeremy Freeman “GG”; special friends, Saralynn Porche and Aimee Knight; and numerous cousins, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd J. Ordoyne Sr. and Marlene Theriot Ordoyne; great-grandparents, Roy and Lena Foil, Frank Fredrick Ordoyne and Edna Landry Ordoyne, and Daniel Passman; and uncles, Brian Ordoyne and Shaun Foil.

Visitation was held Friday, April 19 at Crain Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Visitation continued on Saturday at Hay’s Creek Southern Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Rick Elder and the Rev. Fredrick Brumfield officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were members of Washington Parish’s Fireman’s Honor Guard.
