STRAHAN

James Edward Strahan, 78, died Friday morning, April 19, 2013, at his residence in Bogalusa. He was born Sept. 6, 1934, and was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Miley Strahan of Bogalusa; two stepdaughters, Tina Marie Delancey of Houston and Nancy Leann Baker Williams of Nashville, Tenn.; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Clifford Wayne and Donna Delancey of Bogalusa; a sister-in-law, Lois Boone of Pine; numerous grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and numerous stepbrothers and stepsisters.

His father, Buford C. Strahan, and mother, Allie Sandifer Strahan Lanford, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 21 at Crain Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m., and will continue on Monday from noon until time for the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Tommy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
