Amanda Jade Hartzog Thomas, who was born on Oct. 14, 1985, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 5:56 p.m. at University Hospital in New Orleans. She was 27.

She was an outstanding young woman who loved her family and enjoyed spending time on the river and fishing.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, Nathan Dudley Thomas; two daughter, Alyssa Jade and Destiny Jace; her father and stepmother, Kenny Wayne Hartzog and Kim Erwin Hartzog; her grandmothers, Georgia Hartzog Miley and Ruby Nelle Rawls Graves; two sisters, Ashley Briana Hartzog and Autumn Nicole Hartzog; her mother-in-law, Barbara Gail Thomas; a sister-in-law, Bridget Renee McCain; a brother-in-law, Herman Andy Thomas; three nieces, Jennifer Shari McCain, Hannah Maria McCain and Allie Renee McCain; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Lucious Hartzog; maternal grandfathers, Billy Jean Rawls and Ed Graves; her father-in-law, Lloyd Leon “Jr.” Thomas; a brother-in-law, Jonathon Lloyd Thomas; and several aunts and an uncle.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 19 at Crain Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Tommy Hudnall and Bro. Patrick Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Centerville Church Cemetery in Centerville, Miss.
