Earlier this month, Louisiana Heart Hospital signed agreements with 11 physicians with practices located with St. Tammany, Washington and Tangipahoa parishes. These integration agreements represent an important step in the growth of the Louisiana Heart Hospital’s integrated delivery system.

LHH opened in 2003 in the heart of St. Tammany Parish, Lacombe. A 136-bed general acute care facility noted nationally for excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, LHH also provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care that includes orthopedics, vascular and general surgery, urology, gastroenterology, and a full-service emergency department that is the first nationally accredited Chest Pain Center on the Northshore. LHH serves patients from St. Tammany, Washington and Tangipahoa parishes in Louisiana and from southern Mississippi counties and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
