BRIDGES

Willie Mae Bridges, 82, a resident of Bogalusa, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, in Bogalusa.

Born Nov. 1, 1930, she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Warren (Jeanette) Bridges; two daughters, Hattie (Johnny) Dillon and Vanessa Bridges; six grandchildren, Shondrika (Deshone) Dyson, Marion Cotton, LaRhonda St. Amant, Roynes (Dawn) Durall II, Adrelique (Angela) Dural and Raynis (Jacqueline) Bridges; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one niece, Gussie Davis; one nephew, John Polk; a special cousin, Maetha Hathron; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 12 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home from 2-6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Christopher Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery.
