Thomas Darnell “Eyes” Turner Sr., 43, was born on May 14, 1969 to Lubertha H. Turner and Johnny A. Turner. He departed this life Friday, March 29, 2013 in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his loving, dedicated mother, Lubertha H. Turner Keller; five daughters, Meagan Turner, Brooke Ramsey, Alisha Turner, Kashmere Scott and Tiara Turner; three sons, Thomayan Turner, Thomas Turner and Thomas Magee; sisters, Tonya M. Turner (Lloyd), Keisha (Arin) Williams and Crystal (Quincy) Young; three brothers, Anthony J. (Quovatas) Turner, Michael (Christie) O’Ree and Curtis Moss III; and one grandchild, L.J. Ramsey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny A. Turner; the stepfather who raise him, George Keller; his grandparents, Rosie F. Harris, Monroe Jenkins, Mary Turner and Johnny B. Turner; aunts, Patricia Barnes and Anna L. Justice; and uncles, Johnny Harris and Michael Harris.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 5 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home from 2-7 p.m., followed by a family hour from 7-8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, with Eld. Christopher Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery.
