Sharon Yvonne Walton, 57, born Feb. 10, 1956, in Bogalusa, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her residence in Bogalusa.

She is survived by two daughters, Maegan (Jason) Johnston and Macey Walton, both of Bogalusa; her mother, Mary Knight Ewell of Bogalusa ; a grandchild, Grayson Scott Johnston; special friend, Gwin Barber of Bogalusa; a special niece, Nikki Bonura; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Ewell; a sister, Mary Haik; and two brothers, Otis Ewell Sr. and Roy Ewell.

Visitation was held Saturday, March 23 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5:30-9 p.m., and will continue on Sunday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral services in the chapel, with the Rev. Marcus Rosa officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
