JENKINS
Leroy Jenkins, 74, was born on Sept. 16, 1938, and passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at Regency Hospital in Covington.
He retired as a millwright from Temple-Inland Paper Company. He was a resident of Bogalusa and a native of Bush.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Savoy “Frenchie” Jenkins of Bogalusa, two sons, Roy W. (Dawn) Jenkins and Keith A. (Kim) Jenkins, both of Bush; two stepdaughters, Trisha Liuzza of Mandeville and DeAndrea Wager of Bush; seven grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myra Jenkins, and three brothers, Lee Jenkins, Buford Jenkins and Allen Jenkins.
Visitation was held Monday, March 18 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m., and continued on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev Joe Jarrell and Arlen Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at Williams-Galloway Cemetery in Bush.
Pallbearers were Bud Ward, Butch Willis, Joe Jarrell Jr., Brian Jenkins, Chad Miller and Justin Hunt.50
