SALADINO

Patricia Ann McDougald Saladino, 72, a resident of Bogalusa, was born on Dec. 20, 1940, in Lafourche Parish, and passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

She is survived by five children, Patricia Westbrook of North Dakota, Catherine Korach of Denham Springs, Angela Saladino of Franklinton, and Angelo Saladino Jr. and Carol Ann Saladino, both of Bogalusa; her former husband, Angelo Saladino Sr. of Bogalusa; 11 grandchildren, Jason Montanaro, Geno Fernandez, Mandy Anne Hoffmann Brown, Crystal Hoffmann, John “J.J.” Hoffmann Jr., Gary Korach, Christopher Korach, Mary Korach, Christina Korach, Howard Korach and Angelo Saladino III; eight great-grandchildren, Jesse Fernandez, Ashley Fernandez, Selena Fernandez, Julian Montanaro, Chloe Lynn-Marie Freeman, Baby Steven Hayward Brown Jr., Baby Cole Alexander Brown and Xzavion Latrayal Porter; and three sisters, Ida Mae, Colleen and Freddie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Floyd McDougald; her mother, Patricia Leitz McDougald; a brother, James McDougald and a great-granddaughter, Jayden Montanaro.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Patrick Collum as celebrant. Interment will follow at Garden of Peace in Ponemah Cemetery.
