It was a special day at Franklinton Elementary School on Friday, March 1. In observance of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, Barbara Gerald’s fourth-grade class had a special guest drop by. Washington Parish School System’s Adolescent Literacy Coach, Dr. Grant Gerald, came by to help the class celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Dr. Gerald read the favorite story of “Green Eggs and Ham” to the class and presented each student with a bookmark.
