To cap off the 12-week Smart Bodies program, a Body Walk was held Friday at Bogalusa’s Superior Avenue Elementary School. The program, designed to combat childhood obesity, is a collaborative effort of the LSU AgCenter and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation. During the Body Walk, a tour of the human body, students travel through various stations, including one where they learn about proper mouth care. A body walk will be held April 2 at Byrd Avenue Elementary.
