The Bogalusa Italian-American Cultural Club has hosted a St. Joseph’s Altar every year since 1974. This year marks the 39th. The altar is laden with fruits, vegetables and baked goods of all kinds — everything but meat adorns the altar. Inset at left is one of two lamb cakes made by City Councilman Teddy Drummond. The inset at right show platters of ripe, delicious fruit nestled among the other food and items on the altar.
