John Michael White, a resident of Sandy Hook, Miss., passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Born July 10, 1968, he was a member of Sandy Hook Baptist Church, worked with the Sandy Hook Archery Ministries, and also worked with his father, Johnny, as a taxidermist.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Fisher White; a daughter, Hayleigh McClendon; a son, Bryce McClendon; his parents, Johnny and Neva Haik White; a sister, Tonya (Stephen) Fornea; two nieces, Bailey and Emma; four nephews, Hayden, Camden, Carter and Mason, all of Sandy Hook; and many other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Stella White, and Lester and Faye Haik.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Sandy Hook Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery, with the Rev. Ricky Daugherty officiating.
