Penny Faye Bolton, who was born in Bogalusa on Feb. 7, 1964, departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the age of 49.

She was a member of St. Paul African Methodist Church since her childhood. The life of all family events, she was also well known within the community.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Gregory Donta Bolton of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Miracle Arlessa Bolton of Bogalusa; two grandchildren, Javorus Bolton of San Antonio, Texas and Skylynn Bolton of Bogalusa; six siblings, Linda Conerly of San Francisco, Calif., Lajulia Conerly of Bogalusa, Kenneth Bolton of Dallas, Texas, Cynthia (Rodafa) Godbolt of Bogalusa, Arlessa (Jerry) Pleasant of Houston, Texas, and Roy Bolton of Bogalusa; a special cousin, Dildred McClain of Bogalusa; three aunts, Helen Johnson of New Orleans, and Melva Dean Conerly and Elaine Conerly, both of Franklinton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Charlene Bolton; two siblings, Milton Bolton Jr. and Shirley Bickham; and two nephews, Jacque Bolton and T. J. Bolton.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 15 from 2-6 p.m. at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 430 Church Street in Bogalusa, with Eld. R. L. Palmer, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
