CONLEY

John H. “Slick” Conley, a resident of Bogalusa, departed this life Friday, March 8, 2013. A precious one from us is gone.

He was born Oct. 10, 1950.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Cotton Conley; one sister, Lucille Bland of New Orleans; three brothers, Walter Fox of New Orleans, Ernest (Central) Fox of Bogalusa and Colonel Joe (Jackie) Conley of Mansfield, Texas; and host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death his parents, Henry and Charlotte Conley, and one sister, Mary Bruns.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 15 at St. Paul AME Church, 420 Church St. in Bogalusa, from 1-2:30 p.m., with the funeral service to be held at 3 p.m. Pastor R.L. Palmer Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Bogalusa Cemetery.
