Reeder Mae Goins, 72, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

Born February 7, 1941 in Florence, Ala., she was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She was known for always sending out acknowledgement cards on different occasions to many people throughout the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Rufus Butler and Mary Hendrix Butler.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral services at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Patrick Magee officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Peace in Ponemah Cemetery.
