WALLEY

James H. Walley, 70, born Sept. 12, 1942 in Bogalusa, departed this life Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynn R. Walley; two sons, Chris Walley of Bogalusa and Jason Walley of Montgomery, Ala.; one daughter-in-law, Becky Walley of Bogalusa; four grandsons, Christopher Walley Jr., and Justin and Ben Walley, all of Bogalusa, and Cooper Walley of Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews. He had four special pets that he loved dearly, Junior, Jack, Peanut and Brownie.

He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Walley; his mother, Juanita S. Smith; three brothers, Robert Duncan, Clifford Walley and Kenneth Duncan; and one sister, Betty Jean Duncan.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Matthews Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 208 Georgia Ave. in Bogalusa, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Milton Gibson officiating. All are invited to attend.
