MAGEE

Donald Magee Sr., 71, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, in Slidell.

He was born on April 21,1941, and the loving father of three sons, Tyrone Johnson of Dallas, Texas, Darryl Robinson Adair-Robinson of Gary, Ind. and Donald Ray Magee Jr. of Mobile, Ala.; and one daughter, Alena Rae Magee of Crown Point, Ind.

He leaves to cherish his memories his two sisters, Dorothy (Lawrence) Davis of New Orleans and Bernette (Alvin) Burse of New Orleans; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Beatrice Magee; his stepfather, Jahve Robinson; three brothers, James O’neal, Theodore Jr. and Roy Magee; and two sisters, Jeanette Temple and Gladystein Porter.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 15, at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lear Hill Church of God in Christ, with Elder Leslie Fields, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Lear Hill Cemetery.
