CAUSEY

Gladys Elizabeth Pearson Causey, born Oct. 24, 1955, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Houston Causey Jr.; four sons, Joshua Causey (Christy) of Mesquite, Texas, Zachary Causey (Roslyn) of Wilmer, Houston Dwayne Causey of Mesquite and Michael Causey of Franklinton; her cherished grandchildren, Joshlyn E. Causey, Jaiden Causey, and A’Kyia Jackson; one brother, Frank Pearson Jr. (Melita) of Poplarville, Miss.; three sisters, Shirley Partman, Louise Brown (Larry) of Franklinton, and Linda Magee (Ray) of Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb 8, at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home of Franklinton from 2-5 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jerome Warren Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Causey, Zachary Causey, Houston Dewayne Causey, Michael Causey, Rev. Johnny Causey, Sr., Rev. Bruce L. Brown Sr., Victor Partman, Steve Partman, Frank Pearson, Jr., Frank Pearson III, and Corey Brown. Active pallbearers are Sammy Holmes, Alexandra Magee, Alex Ford, Johnny Conerly, Kenneth Lee and Michael Warren.
