Byrd Avenue Elementary staff held a fundraiser in October at McDonald’s in Bogalusa, and 20 percent of the proceeds went to the school to help build academic success for its students. Another fundraising event is planned for March 4 from 5-8 p.m. Byrd Avenue faculty, students and staff invite everyone to come out and support the school.
