ROSS

Casandra Robertson Ross, 63, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was a native and resident of Bogalusa.

She is survived by three sons, Dewayne (Lisa) Ross of Berwyn, Ill., Wilon (Crystal) Ross of Maywood, Ill. and Mark Ross of Bogalusa; a sister, Bettye (Richard) Puryear of Chicago; a goddaughter, Tasha Stalling of Bogalusa; a sister-in-law, Mary P. Muldrow of Antioch, Calif.; six grandchildren, La’Shondra Lotts of Baton Rouge, Marcus and Markeitha Lowery of Bogalusa, Keyon and Caytlyn Ross of Maywood and DeLaurence Ross of Berwyn; one great-grandchild, Bria Lowery of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Larry Ross; her parents, Samuel and Josie Robertson; her brother, James Banks; and her sister, Pearlina Robertson.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 1 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2-5 p.m., with family time from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at 1 p.m., with Rev. Tom Bailey, pastor, and Rev. E. L. Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
