THIBODEAUX

Vernice B. Thibodeaux, a native and resident of Thibodaux and former resident of Bogalusa, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 10:39 a.m.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne J. Thibodeaux and wife, Laura, George E. Thibodeaux and wife, Mary Ellen, and Steven P. Thibodeaux and wife, Janet. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Thibodeaux; her parents, Ernest and Aimee T. Boudreaux; two brothers, Lollace Boudreaux and Anatole Boudreaux; and five sisters, Judith Cortez, Hilda Andras, Verna Toups, Letecia Richard and Vorina Chaisson.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 29, at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux, from 4-7 p.m. and will continue on Monday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
