When Randy Seal was elected Sheriff of Washington Parish, he inherited many things, including Sheriff’s Office flowerbeds that needed lots of help. With the assistance of his wife, Sheila, along with other volunteers, the weed-filled beds were transformed into colorful flower beds. The beautification efforts have now been recognized by the Franklinton Garden Club and the Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, which chose the office as the Business of the Month. “Appearance is so important,” Seal said. “I wanted the exterior of the building to exemplify the professionalism of the Sheriff’s Office. I am so honored that our office has been recognized as the Business of the Month. This is a testimony to the wonderful volunteers who worked so hard to beautify the exterior of our building.”
