COOPER

Kenneth Cloyd Cooper, 50, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. Born Dec. 2, 1962, he was a native and lifetime resident of Bogalusa and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a mason of the Center Lodge 244 F&AM, a member of the American Legion Post 24 in Bogalusa, and a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Cooper of Bogalusa; two sons, Mason Cooper and Joshua Roberts, both of Bogalusa; three daughters Kacey (John) Zane of Virginia and Kelsey and Kendal Roberts, both of Bogalusa; two brothers, Arnold Cooper Jr. of Bogalusa and Edgar (Nikki) Cooper of Mobile, Ala.; a sister, Lourenda (Gary) Stewart of Bogalusa; one grandchild, Aiden Zane; two special people, Honey and Huggie; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Mary Cooper, and a sister, Cindy Cooper.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, from 10 a.m. until time for the service at noon, with Rev. Pete Underwood will officiating. Interment will follow at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. American Legion Post 24 will provide military honors at the graveside.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mickey Turnage, Scott Adams, James Thigpen, Jack McAlister, Caleb Parker, Sidney Warner Jr. and Richard Breedlove.
