Vera Lou Lewis, 75, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe. A homemaker, she was born July 11, 1937 in Tylertown, Miss. and attended the Pentecostal church. She was a former resident of Bogalusa.

She is survived by one sister, Judy Ann Magee of Hackley; three brothers, Cleve Henry Magee of Sterlington, Randy Devon Magee of West Monroe and Allen Dale Toney of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Lewis, and her parents, Cleveland Monroe Magee and Harriett Rebecca Clark Magee.

Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 27 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5- 9 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday in the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral services at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Charles Ray Creel officiating. Interment will follow at Stateline Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
