Mizell Fisher Jr., a resident of New Orleans, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at the John Hainkel Jr. Home and Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Franklinton, Mizell leaves to cherish his memories five sons, Mizell Fisher III, Kenneth Fisher of New Orleans, Kevin Fisher of Franklinton, Eric Fisher of Houston, Texas and Christopher Fisher of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Eddie Fisher of Hammond; four sisters, Brenda Fisher and Shirley Fisher, both of Franklinton, Janice Fisher of New Orleans and Mary Dean Fisher of Jackson, Miss.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mizell Sr. and Maxine Fisher; two brothers, J. W. Fisher and Johnny Fisher; and two sisters, Etta Fisher Amos and Diane Fisher Barnet.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Minister W.L.
