Linda Drummond Burke, 62, a native of Bogalusa residing in Baton Rouge, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, after a length battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bill Burke of Baton Rouge; a son, Tracy (Christi) Burke, and three grandchildren, Ian, Emma and Eli, all of Brandon, Miss.; five brothers, Jerry (Jamie) Drummond of Sulphur, Sam (Bess) Drummond of Ft. Washington, Md., Teddy (Judy) Drummond of Bogalusa, Rodney (Lynne) Drummond of Baton Rouge and Andrew Drummond of Crossroads, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and J.T. Drummond, and two sisters, Judy Mayes and Rosie Drummond.

A memorial service will be held in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, Dec. 11. A second memorial service will be held on Wednesday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
