Rebecca O. Penton, 69, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at her residence in Bush.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos Penton of Bush; three sons, Billy, Carl and Terry Penton, all of Bush; two daughters, Lynn Goldhammer and Lisa Mejia of Bush; sisters, Janice Chaffins of Dallas, Texas and Maxine Wells of Florida; nine grandchildren, William Penton Jr., Nicole Bourque, Holly Bourg, Christopher Goldhammer, Kevin Goldhammer, Chase Glynn Penton, Cacie Meyn and Carrie Herring; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5 in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8 a.m. until time for the service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Penton Cemetery at Talisheek, with Elder Otha Schillings officiating.
