Derbigny Street will be closed between Church Street and Washington Street all day Thursday while crews work to replace part of a train trestle.

In giving the heads-up, Bogalusa Director of Public Works James Hall said that area is highly traveled.

“That’s a very busy intersection, and people will have to find alternate routes,” he said.

Hall said one possible route is Villery Street between Church Street and Austin Street.
