Kendal Kennedy, 69, an Angie native born on Feb. 7, 1943, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at his residence in Angie.

He is survived by his wife, Sharmon Jane Kennedy of Angie; two daughters, Annette Kennedy Pounds and Kimberly (Michael) Spurlock; three sons, Kendal Kennedy Jr., Keith Kennedy and Jason Derrick (Adria Cassidy) Kennedy; one brother, James Kennedy; his grandchildren, Bladen Austin Spurlock, Hailie Madison Spurlock, Grason Michael Spurlock, Erica Eugin, Troy Pounds, Ashley Pounds, Keith Kennedy Jr. and Patrick Kennedy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Austin Kennedy and Elsie Williams Kennedy; one sister, Brenda Stockstill; one brother, Wendell “Bo” Kennedy.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time for funeral services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Seal Cemetery in Stateline.
