Mildred Leona Pack

Mildred Leona Pack, 96, of Marshall, Ark., passed from this life on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Ark. She was born in Witts Springs, Ark. on March 3, 1916 to William Thomas Blackwell and Sarah F. (Sanders) Blackwell.
She was a member of the Snowball Baptist Church. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing. She was married to her husband, Huel Pack, for 70 years, until his death in 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Pack and wife Carolyn of Pollocksville, N.C. and Jerry Pack and wife Vicki of Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Jeffery Pack and wife Cindy of St. Louis, Mo., Michelle Uphold and husband Jerry of Cary, N.C., Whitney Pack of Conway, Ark., David Pack and wife Kelley of St. Peter, Mo., Larry Pack Jr. of Bogalusa and Stephanie Pack, Jody Pack and Jessie Pack, all of Little Rock; 12 great-grandchildren, Trena, Isabelle, David, Thomas, Isaiah, Mykalinn, Anakai, Kenyon, Kyron, Nikki, Jamie and Sierra; four great-great grandchildren, Amy, Carl Jr. Dakota and Lilly; and a host of family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
She was preceded her in death by her parents; her husband, Huel; one son, Larry; one great-grandson, Jared; two brothers, Major and Roy; and two sisters, Mamie and Amy.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, preceded by visitation Monday in the funeral home chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Burial followed at Canaan Cemetery in Marshall.
Her grandchildren served as pallbearers.
