Gregory Jones, 57, a resident of Enon born Aug. 24, 1955, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at 5:51 p.m. at Lakeview Regional Medical Center.
He was a longtime welder with Louisiana Valve and Machine Works in Port Allen and was currently a rancher, horse trainer and foreman for Salley and Associates. He was a master Mason of the Sun Masonic Lodge 336.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Jones of Enon; four daughters and a son-in-law, Amy and Richard Inabnitt and Heather Michelle Jones, all of Enon, Melissa Pietsch of Mandeville and Leslie Ann Sanders of Ringgold; five grandchildren, Mason Inabnitt, Peyton Kirkland, Alyssa Dodson, Breanna Cangelosi and Will Authement; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Sue Jones of Enon; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Jim Weaver of Enon; a half brother, Bo Jones of Bogalusa; two nephews and spouses, Paul and Paula Jones and Sean and Debbie Jones; nieces, Melody Phrampus and her three daughters; and numerous friends and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Jones and Erma Miley Jones, and grandparents, Burns Miley and Hester Miley and John C. Jones and Minnie Bell Jones.
Visitation will held Sunday, Nov. 18 be at Crain Funeral Home from noon until time for the memorial service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Leon Hickman officiating.
