Arnice Harry Pittman, 87, of Angie, de-parted this life Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Pittman Jones of Angie; five sons, Rev. Charles (Elma) Pittman of Angie, Louis (Glenda) Pittman of Baton Rouge, Pastor Erwin (Margie) Pittman of Moss Point, Miss., Pastor Alvin (Barbara) Pittman of San Diego, Calif. and Wallace (Tora) Pittman of Angie; three brothers, Clemeal (Geneva) Harry of Covington, Robert (Roberta) Harry of Moss Point and Julius (Rosalina) Harry of Lancaster, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Pittman; her parents, Louis and Rebecca Harry; and three sisters, Victoria Lett, Elizabeth Moses and Nercile Holmes.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 24 in the chapel of Crain & Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie at 1 p.m., with Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Wesley Ray Cemetery in Angie.
