James Lee Horton, 57, born Nov. 8, 1954, departed this life Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Margie Mack of Mt. Hermon; two brothers, Roosevelt Horton of Tallulah and Hercules Horton of Tennessee Colony, Texas; and one sister, Rosa Barnes of Mt. Hermon.

The visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 11 a.m. until time for the funeral service at the funeral home at noon. The interment will follow at Butler Cemetery in Kentwood.
