Mr. and Mrs. Richard Green, of Franklinton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Marie Green, to Gerald “Jerry” Manuel Bettencourt, of Lemoore, Calif.

The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carey Bateman, of Franklinton, and her paternal grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Green, also of Franklinton. She is a 2004 graduate of Bowling Green School and a 2008 graduate of Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in food science and technology. She is employed at Leprino Foods Company.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony “Tony” Rocha of Lemoore. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gonzales, of Lemoore, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rocha and the late Kathy Rocha, of Hanford, Calif., and Mrs. Manuel Bettencourt and the late Mr. Bettencourt, of Hanford. He is a 2003 graduate of Lemoore High School, and is employed at Northland Process Piping.

The couple is planning a July 7, 2012, wedding, to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Franklinton. After the honeymoon, they will reside in Colorado.
