Vivian O’quin Thomas

Vivian O’quin Thomas, 81, born Jan. 28, 1931, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012.
A longtime resident of Bogalusa, she was a retired employee of the Bogalusa City School System and was a member of Love Missionary Baptist Church.
She survived by a son, Perry Joseph (JoAnne) Thomas of Folsom; two daughters, Vergie (Eugene) Nolan of Bogalusa and Vickie Lynn Fontenot (Craig) of Bush; five grandchildren, Perry Matthew Nolan, Crystal Gayle Nolan, Christopher John Fontenot, Paul Joseph Fontenot and Shelby Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Faith Emmalee Fontnot, Bethany Haze Yarborough, Jacob Chase Yarborough and Lilly Mia Yarborough.
She was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Vergie O’quin, and her husband, Perry Thomas.
Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 4 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from at 10 a.m. until service time at noon, with Rev. Rodney Graham and Rev. Glynn Erwin officiating the services. Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
