With the Bogalusa Blues and Heritage Festival less than two months away, work on the amphitheater at Cassidy Park, the fest venue, has kicked up to full speed ahead. On Monday, city workers took down and toted off a handful of trees that were in the way of the planned seating. Leon Perry, assistant director of Public Works, said that more trees would be planted in the area.
