Regular passersby have expressed concern and even reportedly sneaked food to a trio of horses in a field just west of Ben’s Ford School on Mt. Pleasant Road. The animals’ ribs, backbones and hip bones are clearly protruding, and their tails show evidence that they have not been brushed in some time. The matter was reported to the authorities.
