For those who have gold or silver jewelry, coins or other items of value they would like to sell, the Jewelry and Coin Buyers Roadshow will be in Bogalusa — at the office of Superior Auto Sales on 603 Superior Ave. — on Saturday, July 28 and Friday, Aug. 3.

Admission is free, and the event will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., or until all customers have been seen.

Licensed buyers who have more than 50 years’ combined experience, Mason and Davis Metals will offer appraisals and assist locals with selling their gold, silver, diamonds or other items of value. In addition to gold, silver and costume jewelry and rare coins and paper currency, the buyers are looking for items like small antiques, paintings and historical memorabilia.
