Harold Burton Rice, 80, a resident of Pine born Feb. 18, 1932, died the afternoon of Friday, July 6, 2012 at his home.

He was a longtime employee of Walmart at Brookhaven, Miss.

He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Ott Rice of Pine; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Burton Rice of Shreveport and Michael and Demetria Rice of Pine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leanne and Bill Holly of Birmingham, Ala. and Kim and Andy Yeargin of Laplace; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 7 at Crain Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until time for the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. Burial will follow at Ellis Cemetery.
