Perry D. Foster passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at the age of 53 at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.
He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Toshiba (Jeff) Mangrum Brown of Bogalusa; three sons: Perry Foster Jr., Paris Walker and David Martin, all of Bogalusa; one stepdaughter, Jessica Mangrum of Bogalusa; one grandchild, Talena Mangrum of Bogalusa; his ex-wife, Lena Mangrum Foster of Bogalusa; eight sisters: Pricilla Cotton, Casandra Cotton and Beulah (John) Conerly, all of Bogalusa, Tywanda Robinson of Varnado, Alice (George) May Garrett and Evelyn Dooley, both of Bogalusa, Tammy (Jermaine) May Banks of Baton Rouge and Wandra (Gary) May Vicks of Varnado; five brothers: Oneal (Cathy) Cotton of Franklinton, John Allen (Anita) Cotton of Poplarville, Miss., Kevin (Jamie Lynn) May and Andre Jones, both of Varnado; special uncle, Joseph Matthews of Varnado, and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozelean Foster and Elvin May; stepmother, Barbara May; three brothers: Joseph May Jr., Elvin Joseph Jr. and Walter Cotton; one sister, Rose “Lil Girl” Cotton.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 29 at Crain & Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Linza Cotton, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Cemetery in Angie. ȋ
