On Nov. 7th, three Bogalusa Police Department officers received the Excellence in Law Enforcement Award presented by Metropolitan Crime Commission of New Orleans at an awards luncheon held in New Orleans, LA. The luncheon’s main purpose is to recognize and honor the outstanding accomplishments of federal, state, and local criminal justice professionals that have distinguished both themselves and their respective agency through noteworthy investigations and/or prosecutions over the previous year.

BPD officers, Casey Hidalgo, Tyler Lindsey and David Miller were recognized for having preformed extraordinary service to law enforcement and the administration of criminal justice to the benefit of the Metropolitan New Orleans Area.
