Brandi Leigh Hopper Sewell, 45, of Hattiesburg, passed away on Sept. 3, 2024, at Forrest General Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on Nov. 25, 1978, in Bogalusa, La. After graduating high school in Bogalusa, La., she continued her education at Loyola University in New Orleans, La., and The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss. Prior to nursing, Brandi worked at The Herald Editor in Wyoming.  Brandi dedicated her life to helping others for nearly 20 years as a Nurse in Bogalusa, New Orleans, and Hattiesburg.

Brandi is preceded in death by her father, Charles Wallace Hopper; paternal grandparents, Mary Alice Hopper and William Durand Hopper; maternal grandparents, William Elliot Carter and Bessie Nell Evans Carter; mother-in-law, Mary Sewell; and father-in-law, Jerry Sewell. She is survived by her loving husband, Rob Sewell; mother, Beverly Carter Hopper; two sisters, Nicole (Jason) Klein and Katie (Sam Foster) Hopper; brother-in–law, Michael (Amy) Sewell; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and fur baby, Charlie.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 15, 2024, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Forrest Funeral Home with the memorial service to follow at 4 pm.
