Patricia Roussell Miller, born Nov. 30, 1942, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, La., passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Pat’s family owned and operated The Family Bakery in Bogalusa, La., starting in 1921. She and Buddy Miller were the last to manage the bakery before it closed over 60 years later.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vernice Roussell Mitzenberg; father, Leslie “Dooney” Roussell; sisters, Donner Boudreaux and Alicia St. Romain; brother, Leslie Roussell; stepfather, Arthur Mitzenberg; the father of her children, Buddy Miller, and her triplet sons, Osa, Matthew, and Jason Miller.

Pat is survived by her sons, Michael (Bonnie) Miller and Scott (Heather) Miller; daughter, Karen Miller; brother, Paul (Vicki) Mitzenberg; grandchildren, Austin Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Katherine Miller, Ashley Miller, Lacey Miller, Max (Michelle) Miller, and Lauren (Trent) Gainer; great-grandchildren, Elijah Claunch, Gabriel Claunch, Kennedy Smith, Sarah Gainer, Elyse Gainer, Quinn Gainer, and Vivian Gainer, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pat was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Ponemah Cemetery, 1136 Louisiana Ave., Bogalusa, La. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at 10 a.m.
