The track at Goodyear Park is complete.
The resurfacing of the track was part of a two-part grant through the Louisiana Outdoor Program.
One part was for a new handicap playground at Maggie Ard Park with the other part being for the track.
“I’m extremely excited about the opportunity to provide beautification to our parks,” Landon Tims said. “We work really hard through this funding just to make sure the people of Bogalusa have nice recreational areas to enjoy.”
Tims is the former Director of Parks and Recreation Department and is now the Director of Community Development.
