Kathleen “Aileese” Thomas is the 18-year-old daughter of Angela Maples and Cade Thomas. She is the granddaughter of Tommy and Ann Riley, Donnie Ray Thomas, Cindy Adams and the late Dennis McDow. She has one sister, Deneese Thomas, who also attends Pine Junior/Senior High School, and one brother, Reese Thomas, who graduated from Pine Junior/Senior High School.
Aileese has attended Pine Junior/Senior High School since the sixth grade. While at Pine, Aileese has received numerous academic awards and maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is Dual-Enrolled with Southeastern Louisiana University in math, English and history. She has been a member of the Pine Beta Club, History Club, Student Council, FFA, Fishing Team, Robotics, FCA, National Society of High School Scholars, Honors Society, Washington Parish Youth Coalition, 4-H President and 4-H Parish Ambassador. Aileese is also a Varsity Powerlifter on the Pine High Powerlifting team, and attended the 2023 Louisiana State Powerlifting competition.
Aileese is enrolled at Louisiana State University and will attend classes in the Spring of 2024 to pursue a Veterinary Science career after returning from basic/AIT training for the Louisiana National Guard. Aileese has had an outstanding high school experience and is enthusiastic about life beyond graduation.
