Bigler named Bowling Green School’s April Student of the Month

Brody Steven Bigler is the 18-year old son of Brian Bigler and Erika Sampey of Franklinton and grandson of Arthur Bigler and Jackie Bigler of River Ridge and Donald Sampey and the late Mabel Sampey of Metarie. Brody has one sister, Brooke Bigler, a certified phlebotomist and alumni of Bowling Green. Brody is a member of the youth group at Bogue Falaya Baptist Church. 

Brody has been a student at Bowling Green since 2015, when he entered the fifth grade. Brody has always been a member of various clubs from Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Brody has always loved helping out the community in the Beta Club with projects such as Operation Christmas child, donating to local food banks, and uplifting the spirits of local nursing homes.  Brody was also a multi-year member of Bowling Green’s Robotics club, in which the club qualified for national competition in California. Brody is constantly trying his best in school and regularly represents Bowling Green at rallies, at which he has qualified for state competition three times in World Geography, American History, and English IV. 

Brody played basketball for Bowling Green in sixth grade, during which the team won the district tournament. While Brody has not played sports since, watching them is still one of his favorite hobbies. Other hobbies of Brody’s include fishing, watching movies, and joking around with friends. 

Brody achieved a 4.18 GPA his senior year and will graduate from Bowling Green with 24 hours of dual enrollment credit from Southeastern. After he graduates, Brody plans to attend and live on campus at the University of South Mississippi and major in Polymer Science and Engineering.
