Cassidy Announces $16.4 Million for Hurricane Laura, Ida Relief

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Louisiana will receive a total of $16,363,037.75 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in relief for Hurricanes Laura and Ida.

 

“These hurricanes devastated our communities, but our state was stronger,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This grant is a step in helping to rebuild and ensure our communities bounce back stronger.”

Washington – St. Tammany Electric Cooperative, Inc

This grant will provide federal funding for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida.

The Administrators of the Tulane Educational Fund

This grant will provide federal funding for emergency protective measures as a result of Hurricane Ida.
